Magic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn
In this book, Jack and Annie go to the time of knights and explore a medieval castle. They almost get caught by guards. But luckily the castle has a trapdoor so they end up going to the moat and swimming along. As soon as they get to the shore, a knight picks them up and puts them on his horse and takes them back to the treehouse.
They still don't know who the knight is!
Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon
In this book, Jack and Annie get caught by pirates. Fortunately they go back to the ship and find out where a treasure is!
Then the pirates let them live. You can find out what happens by reading the book.
Magic Tree House: Vacation Under the Volcano
This Magic Tree House book is based in Pompeii, which as you may know, is the site of a famous volcano eruption. In number 12 Jack and Annie become master librarians. So they're off to collect their first book. I'm not telling you what that book is, you'll have to find out by reading it!
Magic Tree House: Hour of the Olympics
This is #16 in the Magic Tree House series. Jack and Annie go back to ancient Roman times. Except they go to the Olympics - but the rule is, No Girls Allowed!
When Annie tells Jack to go on ahead, he knows that she's up to something. What that something is you'll have to find out on your own :)
Magic Tree House: Lions at Lunchtime
In this Magic Tree House book, Jack and Annie go to Africa and journey along until they meet lions. They also meet giraffes, gazelles, zebras, and a bunch of other animals.
I think that the Magic Tree House is a really great book series. I don't even know how many there are! But I can just tell by the first twelve that I read. I'm going to list some comments from some of the kids and adults who read the books.
