Magic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn

Magic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn

In this book, Jack and Annie go to the time of knights and explore a medieval castle. They almost get caught by guards. But luckily the castle has a trapdoor so they end up going to the moat and swimming along. As soon as they get to the shore, a knight picks them up and puts them on his horse and takes them back to the treehouse.

They still don't know who the knight is!

The Magic Tree House

I think that the Magic Tree House is a really great book series. I don't even know how many there are! But I can just tell by the first twelve that I read. I'm going to list some comments from some of the kids and adults who read the books.

"I wish I could keep all of your books in a glass case with a golden key." - Luke R.

"I think you're the best writer in all mankind!" - Heather O.

That is just some of the comments from Dinosaurs Before Dark, which is the first in the Magic Tree House series.

Magic Tree House #10 is Ghost Town at Sundown, which is about when Jack and Annie travel back into the days of the Wild West to answer a riddle.

"You could really read my mind - wherever Jack and Annie go, I want to go." - Matthew Ross D.
"I'm going to write just like you when I grow up." - Raul A.

"My students love your Magic Tree House books. In fact there is a reading craze in our classroom, thanks to your wonderful books." - S. Tcherepnin

In Vacation Under the Volcano, Jack and Annie become master librarians and they have to rescue an ancient story from Pompeii. As I think you know, the volcano called Mt. Vesuvius erupted there.

"Out of the 3,000 books I've read, your books are the best." - Lauren S.

"I normally like to watch TV, so my Mom likes it when she sees me reading your books. Please write some more." - Brian B.
